Two ways we deliver God’s Little World (GLW)
1) Community Experience (standard delivery)
A guided, hands-on simulation of economic life and cooperation. No sensors. No data collected. First names only. Free to participants; underwritten by sponsors.
We never collect personal health information during standard GLW events. GLW-Lab runs a few times per year and is clearly labeled in advance.

TODAY’S EVENT: Community Experience (no sensors) or GLW-Lab (research window)
2) GLW-Lab (research windows only)
At select times, Black Catholic Health Research Institute conducts an IRB-approved study during GLW. Participation is optional and requires written consent. We may use a comfortable chest-strap heart-rate variability (HRV) sensor for brief pre-/post-readings, offer a $15–$35 thank-you, and report results in aggregate only (no names, no individual results published). GLW-Lab exists to publish peer-reviewed evidence that can help communities and funders support this work.God’s Little World fuses decades of equity praxis with live heart-rate-variability science, giving neighbors an immersive lab to test cooperative economics—and watch stress biology shift—in real time.
Rooted in faith yet open to all, God’s Little World now pipes FDA-cleared HRV data into the Stress Vitals engine, while Chicago State University fellows coach participants to translate biomarkers and survey insights into stronger, profit-sharing co-ops.
After three decades of immersive equity games, God’s Little World now pairs FDA-cleared HRV wearables with a 30-booth traveling “city.” Participants first run micro-businesses for personal profit, then re-run them as worker-owned cooperatives—complete with a cookie co-op that shares earnings—to test whether shared ownership blunts autonomic stress in real time.
✈️Up to 1,600 HRV Streams Planned
Real-time autonomic data will be captured during traveling “mini-city” sessions across the U.S.
🏛️30 Cooperative Ventures Programmed
Banks, cookie bakeries, and clinics will run side-by-side with solo capitalism to compare stress impact.
👪 150 Community Co-Researchers to be Trained
Local residents will learn to collect, analyse, and act on biometric and survey data for shared gain.

Baking Dignity: A New Vision for Cooperative Work
We know traditional charity offers crumbs—but God’s Little World invites you to bake the whole loaf.
This isn’t about quick fixes or temporary jobs.
This is about owning the kitchen, sharing the profits, and carrying that model beyond the simulation.
Through our partnership with St Vincent de Paul in Phoenix, formerly unhoused and returning citizens learn, earn, and lead.
In this program, a cookie isn’t a hand-out—it’s a launch point for shared prosperity.
Co-Owned Kitchens, Shared Prosperity
Commercial-grade ovens. Transparent ledgers.
Every batch is baked, branded, and sold by the members who make it. Profits go straight back to the team—no middleman, no mystery.
Breaking Scarcity, Building Equity
We flip survival into strategy.
Learn how supply chains, finance, and Catholic social teaching intersect—then design a cooperative economy that truly serves the common good.
Practice the Future (Simulation ➔ Pilot)
Inside God’s Little World you test cooperative roles; at the Phoenix kitchen you live them out. Real sales, real income, real community.
