God’s Little World: A Cooperative Research Tour for Financial Empowerment
Building God’s Little World: Our Purpose
God’s Little World was born out of necessity and truth. Originally envisioned as part of a doctoral dissertation, it confronts the reality that Black communities navigate an intentionally inequitable system. This is not a simulation of fairness—it is a reenactment of the barriers we face, so that we can break them down.
Participants experience both capitalist and cooperative economies, not to adjust to injustice, but to understand how it operates and imagine something better. We don’t teach how to survive the status quo—we teach how to challenge it, reimagine it, and build anew.
This experience equips individuals to:
-
Recognize systemic oppression,
-
Navigate existing structures with awareness and agency,
-
And, most importantly, explore cooperative economic systems rooted in ancestral traditions of mutual aid, dignity, and shared prosperity.
God’s Little World is not a nod to reform—it is a testimony for transformation.
How It Works:
✔ Interactive Economic Simulations – Participants experience cooperative business models firsthand.
✔ Research-Backed Learning – Real-world insights on financial stress & economic alternatives.
✔ Community Dialogue – Encourages discussions on cooperative economics as a systemic solution.
🚀 Launching in the Diocese of Fort Worth in 2026, the tour will provide practical exposure to cooperative finance models and evaluate their potential in strengthening economic resilience.
