Financial stress and discrimination are the upstream drivers of downstream Cardiovascular risk in Black Catholics.

  • 90.6% scored below national mental-health averages (MCS).
  • Financial stress alone explained ~49% of the gap (η² = 0.489)—stronger than generalized stress.
